This carborundum stone, complete with a handle, helps remove trowel marks or high spots from screeds and smoothing compounds.  The carborundum stone is affixed to a plastic handle for easy use.  Once a smoothing compound has set, the carborundum stone removes high spots by rubbing the carborundum stone over them.
